A Letter From Our Chairman
Dear Friend
As you probably know our Group was formed in 1999 and, although we haven't made earth shattering headlines, I think it's fair to say that, during the past seven years, we have all raised some awareness of what our local environment means to us and which has brought about a real sense of community. As a founder member I have been extremely proud to have served firstly as Chairman and then Correspondence Secretary but I feel now is the right time to hand over to new blood which will bring in new ideas and fresh enthusiasm. It is vital that we receive nominations for those posts which will be vacated this year so please give serious consideration to this appeal. Despite membership numbers dwindling in the past few years I want to thank you, our very loyal members, for still being with us after all this time and to ask for your continued support to the newly formed committee. I would also like to thank my fellow officers and project leaders, past and present, for their loyalty, encouragement and help in forming our Group in the first place and which I wish continued success.
